About Eye Care for India Program For many years now, Shailesh Patel and his entire family, have sponsored numerous Eye Camps. With time they have realized the true benefits from giving the gift of sight to so many people in India. With this in mind, Eye Care for India Program, in association with Blind Foundation for India (BFI), was developed by Shailesh Patel with support from his family and friends to widen the exposure and promotion of raising donations for the Eye Camps. Eye Care for India Program is administered from Orlando, Florida, USA and Shailesh Patel works in the capacity of an Advisor to BFI. Our team now actively promotes the work of the foundation and has begun raising the exposure and benefits of Eye Camps. Eye Care for India Program shares the same mission as Blind Foundation for India: to help “prevent blindness in India and cure it when possible. It also seeks to provide education, training and rehabilitation for Indians who are permanently blind”.
